SFS Consolidates Its Access to the US Aerospace Market

The SFS Group is acquiring Heartland Precision Fasteners, Inc., an American fastening specialist in the aerospace sector. The company specializes in the manufacture of high-grade fastening solutions for aircraft structures and propulsion systems. This acquisition will enable SFS to expand its aerospace activities into North America, thereby tapping into a strategically important growth market. The transaction is expected to be completed until the end of September 2026, subject to approval under merger control law and other regulations.

Heartland Precision Fasteners, Inc. was founded in 1994 and currently has around 70 employees. As an established manufacturer of sophisticated precision fasteners for civil and military aerospace applications, Heartland generated roughly USD 30 million in sales in 2025.

With this acquisition, SFS is entering the North American aerospace market and combining its existing application expertise in fastening technology for the aerospace industry with the know-how and customer access of Heartland Precision Fasteners. This step opens up promising opportunities for the development of a global manufacturing platform in the aerospace sector in line with SFS’s local-for-local strategy. At the same time, the acquisition supports the long-term growth and profitability targets of both the Engineered Components segment and the SFS Group as a whole.

Heartland will be integrated into the Industrial business unit of the Engineered Components segment. The employees will be retained and the existing management team will continue to handle business development. Confidentiality has been agreed upon regarding the purchase price. The transaction is expected to be completed until the end of September 2026, subject to approval under merger control law and other regulations.
